New England signs former RUNY center Quentin Pradère

The New England Free Jacks have signed versatile three-quarter Quentin Pradère for the upcoming season. Comfortable at either center spot or on the wing, the 28-year-old arrives in Boston after spending the past two Major League Rugby campaigns with Rugby United New York.

Pradère was born and raised in England but moved to North America in 2011. He attended McGill University in Montreal and then began working in New York in early 2015. In his two seasons with RUNY Pradère appeared in 5 matches, 3 of them in 2020 including a first start against the Houston SaberCats.

The Free Jacks continue to prepare for their regular season opener against the expansion LA Giltinis at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Their intended preseason match against Old Glory DC last week was cancelled due to COVID protocols and there are none scheduled before next Saturday.
