Marcos Kremer scores in Stade Français win over Agen

Marcos Kremer was a try scorer this weekend. The Argentine enforcer touched down in Stade Français’ 41-20 win over Agen. Kremer’s 11th minute score was the second of six tries for the rampant Parisians.

Kremer played the match in the second row. He was joined in the second half by fellow Puma Pablo Matera. The Argentine captain came on from the bench in the 47th minute.

The big Argentine had to work for his try. First, he received a pass on the opposition 22. From there he ran as fast as he could before preparing for impact. He was able to knock off a tackle and avoid a second defender from stopping him short.

Agen are bottom of the Top 14 and facing certain relegation. Stade Français are in play-off contention. After 19 rounds the Parisians are in 8th position. Lyon are just two competition points ahead of Stade Français.

The Parisians will have home advantage in their next match. The March 27 game will be against Clermont. A rested Stade Français side will be looking for more competition points as Gonzalo Quesada’s team marches towards another race for the title.
