Old Glory scraps Free Jacks preseason game

Old Glory DC has cancelled its preseason match against the New England Free Jacks scheduled for this coming Friday. The decision was made out of precaution after the Free Jacks experienced what has been described as a ‘COVID scare’. No further comment has been offered.

The match was due to be played indoors at The St. James and with no other suitable opponents available on short notice, Old Glory opted to pull the plug on any potential replacement event. They will instead prepare for what was to be their second preseason match against Rugby ATL on March 13.

New England are also left frustrated with no further preseason matches scheduled. It appears unlikely one can be arranged prior to their regular season opener in Los Angeles on March 20.
