LA signs Wallabies centurion Adam Ashley-Cooper

The LA Giltinis have confirmed the signing of Wallabies centurion Adam Ashley-Cooper for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. Originally due to join Austin during the 2020 season, the 36-year-old outside center or wing has been linked with the expansion side for several months.

Ashley-Cooper’s 121 test caps are third all-time on Australia’s list of greats, behind only George Gregan and Stephen Moore. He debuted in 2005 and would go on to appear in four World Cups, bringing his illustrious international career to a close at RWC 2019 in Japan.

LA have already signed former Wallabies lock Dave Dennis with another Australian star, Matt Giteau, suddenly back on the rumored list. The Giltinis backline boasts a strong cast featuring Canada winger DTH van der Merwe, Super Rugby center Bill Meakes, and Scotland Sevens star Glenn Bryce.
