Urdapilleta scores record 33 points vs Montpellier

Benjamín Urdapilleta scored 33 points in Castres’ 48-17 hammering today vs Montpellier. The RWC 2019 Puma started at fly half. In a Top 14 record setting performance, Urdapilleta scored two tries, kicked four conversions and five penalties.

The impressive performance sees Castres continuing to move well clear of the relegation zone. Indeed, today’s win moves the team to within one point of the barrage.

Urdapilleta was one of three Americas players involved today for Castres. Canadian captain Tyler Ardron started at N8. His RWC 2019 teammate, Matt Tierney was a replacement. Also taking to the field was Eagle Titi Lamositele. The Washington state native was a replacement for Montpellier.
