14 North Americans to feature in Premier 15s this weekend

This weekend’s offering from the Premier 15s will see 14 North Americans taking part across four matches. A fifth match between the Durham Sharks and Wasps has been postponed due to frozen field conditions deemed unplayable.

Saturday’s featured streaming match will see Harlequins playing Loughborough at Cobham’s Memorial Ground. Abby Duguid’s outstanding performance against Bristol is rewarded with another start in the second row for the Lightning. DaLeaka Menin retains her spot in the No3 shirt.

Kickoff is set for 2pm local time, 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific. Live streams will be available on YouTube, Twitter, and the Premier 15s website.

Exeter have again named eight North Americans in their match day squad to face Worcester. Olivia DeMerchant, Emily Tuttosi, McKinley Hunt, and Kate Zackary continue in the pack, Taylor Black and Gabby Cantorna in the backs. Joanna Kitlinski and Rachel Johnson are on the bench.

The Chiefs head to Sixways with back-to-back upset wins over previously unbeaten Saracens and Harlequins under their belts. Starting for the home side is Canadian winger Paige Farries.

Jess Wooden returns to Sale’s lineup albeit as a reserve. The US Eagles fullback will travel to Shaftesbury Park where the Sharks will take on Bristol Bears.

Sunday’s lone match will see Saracens hosting Gloucester-Hartpury at the newly renamed StoneX Stadium in London. Sophie de Goede runs out at lock for Sarries, with fellow Canadian international Mackenzie Carson set to make her first appearance of the season as a replacement hooker.

Saracens will stream Sunday’s match on their website for those who register for their Wolfpack supporters club. Kickoff is at 2pm local, 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific.
