McKinley Hunt’s try in the opening moments of the match, converted by Gabby Cantorna, was enough to give Exeter a 7-6 win over table-toppers Harlequins on Saturday. The Canadian lock spotted a gap on the post and powered over from short range for the score.

It’s the second week in a row that Exeter have claimed an upset win following the historic victory over Saracens last weekend. The two results aren’t yet enough to get them into the top four, however, with Loughborough and Wasps both nine points ahead.
Featuring alongside Hunt and Cantorna were six other North American internationals – Canada’s Olivia DeMerchant, Emily Tuttosi, and Taylor Black, and the USA’s Kate Zackary started with Joanna Kitlinski and Rachel Johnson coming in off the bench.

There were other a half-dozen Canadians in Premier 15s action elsewhere. Abby Duguid earned Player of the Match honors for her individual efforts in Loughborough’s win over Bristol. DaLeaka Menin was a try-scorer in the first half for the Lightning.
Emma Taylor and Alysha Corrigan each made their debuts for Saracens in their dominant over Durham Sharks, with Sophie de Goede coming off the bench. Meanwhile Paige Farries and Worcester were on the wrong end of a heavy defeat against Wasps.
