Two Canadians set to make Premier 15s debut on Saturday

Saracens are set to debuts to Canadian internationals Emma Taylor and Alysha Corrigan on Saturday. Taylor will start at lock, with versatile back Corrigan named on the bench for the match against Durham Sharks. Sophie de Goede will also take up a spot among the reserves.

It’s a full return for the Premier 15s this week with all 10 teams in action. There will be no Americas players in this week’s feature broadcast with Jess Wooden absent from Sale’s team to play Gloucester-Hartpury, but there will be one live stream of interest available.

Exeter have again named eight North Americans in their lineup to play Harlequins. Four Canadians start in Olivia DeMerchant, Emily Tuttosi, McKinley Hunt, and Taylor Black, with the USA represented by starters Kate Zackary and Gabby Cantorna, and replacements Joanna Kitlinski and Rachel Johnson.

Harlequins meanwhile will be without Kristine Sommer for the remainder of the season with the Eagles lock opting to continue her World Cup preparations state-side.

Kickoff at Sandy Park is set for 2pm local time, 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific. A live broadcast will be available on the Exeter Chiefs YouTube Channel.

The opening match of the day will see Canada’s Paige Farries once again starting on the right wing for Worcester against Wasps. Two of her countrymates will run out for Loughborough, with DaLeaka Menin wearing No3 and Abby Duguid in the No4 shirt against Bristol.
