Pablo Matera scored in Stade Français’ big win over Castres. The Sunday fixture saw the Parisians completion a 29-9 victory. Matera scored the first of three tries for the winning team.

The win edges Stade Français closer to the play-off’s zone. After 15 rounds the Parisians are in 8th position on 34 points. The 6th placed Bordeaux have 39 points. Castres occupy 10th position with 29 points.

The match involved Americas players on both teams. Matera started at flanker and Marcos Kremer did so in the second-row for Stade Français. Fellow Puma Benjamín Urdapilleta played fly half for Castres. Also featuring for Castres were Canadians Tyler Ardron at N8 and Matt Tierney on the bench, as well as Uruguayan Santiago Arata at scrum-half.
