AJ MacGinty scores 10 points in away win over Leicester

AJ MacGinty scored 10 points for the Sale Sharks on Friday. His team were 25-15 winners away over the Leicester Tigers. The result sees the Sale Sharks continuing their impressive season. After seven rounds the club sits in 3rd position with a 5-2 record.

MacGinty started the match at fly half. The USA play maker converted two tries as well as landing two penalties. He also had a try assist. He put in a cross-kick for Marland Yarde. The man from St. Lucia touched down in the left corner.

Yarde’s try featured three Americas players. In addition to MacGinty and Yarde, Matías Moroni was also involved. The Puma tackled MacGinty as he executed the kick. Moroni started at outside center. Fellow former Jaguares Tomás Lavanini and Julián Montoya were replacements. The match was Montoya’s debut in England.
