ARN Player of the Week – Jerónimo de la Fuente

This past weekend saw limited action with even the Saracens match called off. It was France where we found our contenders, but to be truthful the list was short. Francisco Gómez Kodela and Juan Imhoff did well for Lyon and Racing respectively, while Evan Olmstead was prominent in a dominant Biarritz home win over Montauban.

Getting the nod this week is Jeronimo de la Fuente. The Pumas and Jaguares veteran was an astute signing for Perpignan who is quickly making his mark in the Pro D2. Against Colomiers he dominated the midfield with suffocating defensive pressure and intelligent running lines.

USAP are now 12 points clear of third place Biarritz though the latter have a game at hand. With de la Fuente a fixture in the No12 shirt, it will be very difficult to deny Perpignan a return to the Top 14.
