Germán Kessler scores away against Grenoble

Germán Kessler scored a second half try on Friday. The Uruguayan hooker did so for Charente who played away against Grenoble. The home side won the match 25-20 to add to the pressure on the Pro D2 basement team.

Kessler was Charente’s replacement hooker. He came on early for Wayne Avei who was read carded fo foul play. The Uruguayan played 62 minutes. He scored Charente’s first try. The try came from an attacking lineout. Kessler through and a maul was formed. The hooker attached himself to the tail and secured the ball before driving forward and over for the try.

Next up for Charente is a home match on Friday. Kessler’s team will play host to Nevers in a round 17 clash. It will be 16th host 6th.
