Taylor Krumrei signs Seawolves extension

Taylor Krumrei will play a fourth season with the Seattle Seawolves. The 28-year-old has re-signed for the 2021 Major League Rugby campaign, joining Brad Tucker and FP Pelser as returning locks.

After making the jump to MLR from Seattle’s BC Premier League side, Krumrei played an integral role in the 2018 season and was rewarded with a spot in the USA Select XV squad for the Americas Pacific Challenge. He has played a reserve role for Seattle since, appearing twice as a replacement in 2020.

With the departure of Jérémy Lenaerts to Houston, Krumrei could see more game time in 2021. He is the latest extension confirmed by the Seawolves, and the fourth player announcement of the new year. Loosehead prop Kellen Gordon returns with newcomers including San Diego scrumhalf Devereaux Ferris and RUNY midfielder JP Aguirre.
