Olímpia Lions – Player roster for SLAR 2021

The Olímpia Lions will play in the 2021 Super Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR). The team is back for a second season. In 2020 the Paraguayan professional team faced Los Ceibos in the opening round. The team was due to host Corinthians in round two; instead, the season was suspended.

The Olímpia Lions will consists of Paraguayans and Argentine players. The roster can be broken down into three categories of players. First, players from Paraguay. Second, players drafted from Argentina in the SLAR draft. Third, players signed from Argentina that were not drafted.

Players of the second and third varieties were confirmed last week. Additional names have now be added to the third category and names of the first category are now known. In short, there are twenty Paraguayans and twenty-two Argentines on the roster.

It should also be noted that the final roster will be reduced from 30 players. The following players should therefore be considered as an extended player roster.
