Matías Orlando scores try as Newcastle down Gloucester

Matías Orlando was among the point scorers for the Newcastle Falcons on Saturday. The Northern English side were 22-10 winners over Gloucester. Orlando scored the second of three tries for the winning side.

Orlando’s try was simple. He picked up and ran untouched from the base of a ruck. USA second-rower Greg Peterson featured in the build-upto the try. He made a carry several phrases prior to the score.

Peterson played opposite Orlando’s Argentine teammate Matías Alemanno. Both players started the match in the engine room. Also involved was Santiago Carreras. The Argentine fullback made his English Premiership duty from the bench for Gloucester.

The Newcastle Falcons are well placed this season. After six rounds of the English Premiership the Falcons are in second position. The Bristol Bears occupy top position. Gloucester are off the pace with a 1-5 record thus far.
