Eduardo Bello a winner in the Italian Pro 14 classic

Zebre were 22-18 winners today over Benetton Treviso. The result gave the Parma-based side a double over Benetton in as many weeks. Eduardo Bello featured in today’s winning teams effort. Bello was a replacement for Zebre.

Benetton also had Argentine players. Among them was the rent Italian roster call-up Juan Ignacio Brex. The 28-year-old from Buenos Aires started at outside center for Benetton. His former Argentina XV teammate, Tomás Baravalle featured as Benetton’s replacement hooker. former Argentine u20’s prop Thomas Gallo was also a replacement.

Zebre’s 2-0 win in the derbies affects the Pro 14 table. Zebre are in 5th position in Conference A while Benetton are 6th, and bottom of Conference B. The side below Zebre are Scotland’s Glasgow Warriors. Edinburgh are one place above Benetton in Conference B.
