Kellen Gordon extends with Seattle Seawolves

Kellen Gordon has signed on for a fourth season with the Seattle Seawolves. The 32-year-old loosehead prop follows fellow front rowers Djustice Sears-Duru, Mike Shepherd, Stephan Coetzee, and Tim Metcher in officially re-signing with the two-time Major League Rugby champions.

Gordon has been a staple in match day squads since day one, appearing in all but two of Seattle’s MLR games. He has largely been used in a reserve role, with nine of his 31 Seawolves caps coming as a replacement. In 2020 he played in all five matches as second choice loosehead behind Sears-Duru.

Seattle are slowly working towards filling their roster with a little over a month to go before training camp begins for the 2021 campaign. Tuesday’s announcement of Argentine center JP Aguirre was the first new official confirmation of a new signing though more are expected in the coming weeks.
