Danny Tusitala re-signs for Old Glory

Old Glory DC have announced the re-signing of scrumhalf Danny Tusitala for the 2021 season. The Samoa international returns for a second Major League Rugby campaign having spent recent months playing for Auckland in New Zealand’s Mitre 10 Cup competition.

Tusitala paired with Jason Robertson to form Old Glory’s starting halfbacks, ranked by many as the form combination during the shortened 2020 season. He started all five games, playing 97% of all possible minutes, and scored tries against Austin and ATL.

Robertson’s return has already been confirmed, with Sean Hartig and Mike Dabulas also continuing for a second season. Danny Thomas, capable of playing both halfback positions, has signed from Belmont Shore with Collegiate All-American scrumhalf Harry Masters also set to join for the new campaign.
