Old Glory adds ATL game to preseason list

Old Glory DC have added a third match to their preseason schedule. Rugby ATL will travel to Virginia on Saturday, March 13. It’s yet to be confirmed, however, if the game will be played the indoor facility of The St. James in Springfield or Old Glory’s new outdoor venue Segra Field in Leesburg.

Already booked are matches against the US Naval Academy on Friday, February 26, and the New England Free Jacks on Friday, March 5. Both of those games will take place at The St. James.

Navy and ATL were Old Glory’s opponents during the 2020 preseason, both games played at The St. James. ATL were also DC’s final opponents of the 2020 regular season, with the home side taking a 31-29 result at Cardinal Stadium. This will be the first meeting between the Free Jacks and Old Glory.
