LA signs Glasgow Warriors fullback Glenn Bryce

The LA Giltinis have announced the signing of Scottish fullback Glenn Bryce for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. He is the third arrival from Glasgow Warriors, following in the footsteps of Canadian international DTH van der Merwe and former Scotland No8 Adam Ashe.

Unlike the other two, Bryce is currently an active member of the Warriors having suited up in the Champions Cup just two weeks ago. He signed a short-term extension with the club in August. It’s his second stint with the Guinness Pro Championship side, with nearly four years in total in Glasgow sandwiched around two seasons spent with Edinburgh.

The 29-year-old was also a long-time member of the Scotland Sevens set-up, appearing at numerous World Sevens Series events between 2015 and 2019. In the 15-a-side game Bryce represented Scotland in the 2011 u20 Six Nations and later that year the Junior World Championship.

At 6’2″ (1.88m) Bryce is a physical presence in the No15 shirt who is also known for his strong kicking game. He looks to be the final piece of LA’s front line backs division that also includes Super Rugby addition Bill Meakes and Colorado Raptors exports John Ryberg and Mika Kruse.
