NOLA signs Austin center Gabe Farley

The NOLA Gold have signed inside center Gabe Farley on a deal that runs through the 2022 Major League Rugby season. He arrives in Louisiana after playing for the Austin Gilgronis this past season.

Farley, who turns 27 in a week, played all five games for Austin during the 2020 campaign. After playing two the first two rounds as a replacement, he earned the starting No12 shirt and impressed with his strong defense and ability to carry over the gainline.

A USA u20 representative at the 2014 Junior World Trophy, Farley also played for the USA at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. He joined Austin in January of this year but will now compliment the likes of JP du Plessis, Juan Cappiello, and Carl Meyer as midfield options for NOLA.
