Canada’s Alysha Corrigan and Emma Taylor head to Saracens

Alysha Corrigan and Emma Taylor are the latest North American internationals to sign on with a Premier 15s club. The Atlantic Canadian duo have departed for England where they will join Sophie de Goede at Saracens for the remainder of the season.

Hailing from Charlottetown, PEI, Corrigan is known for her strong attacking game and ability to cover across the outside backs. She made her test debut as a wing against Scotland in November 2018 and notably scored two tries as an outside centre opposite the Eagles in November 2019, the last time either test side took the pitch.

Taylor is from Nova Scotia but spent the best part of two years playing for Railway Union in Dublin, helping the club to their first ever All-Ireland League title in 2019. The second row has been in and out of the national side since her first cap in the 2015 Super Series, but enjoyed a recall to the squad for the 2019 Can-Am Series.

The duo will find many familiar faces around the competition with nine internationals already present in addition to de Goede. There are also five US Eagles currently on contract. All 15 North American exports have played significant roles in the first half of the season.
