Suliasi Tamaivena follows brother Siti with Seattle extension

Seattle has now signed both of the Tamaivena twins for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. Having already announced Sitiveni, the team has now confirmed that Suliasi will also continue for a second campaign. Both 27-year-old wingers were part of the extended roster this past season.

While ‘Siti’ played four games for the Seawolves in 2020, ‘Suli’ saw the field just once during the regular season. He replaced Peter Tiberio early in the second half of the extraordinary match against the Utah Warriors that would ultimately be the season finale.

The Seawolves now have three wingers confirmed for next season with goal kicker Brock Staller back for a fourth campaign. Former Ulster and Ireland Sevens rep David Busby is expected to return but Jeff Hassler will not, the Canadian making the move to the Austin Gilgronis.
