Argentina get revenge on Brazil to claim Sudamérica 7s title

Argentina got revenge on Brazil today. Los Pumas did so to win the 2020 Sudamérica Sevens title in Valparaiso, Chile. The tournament win saw Argentina unbeaten today. It was a turnaround following a loss to Brazil yesterday.

Argentina’s 26-14 win over Brazil saw Los Pumas winning the Cup Final. Chile claimed the Bronze Final with a 31-5 win over Uruguay. Argentina’s Mateo Carreras won the Man of the Tournament award.

In 2021 Brazil and Chile will participate in the final qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games. Dates are yet to be confirmed. Brazil and Chile will join Jamaica, Mexico, France, Ireland, Samoa, Tonga, China, Hong Kong, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
