North American stars set to collide in Premier 15s

Nine of North America’s best will collide on the other side of the Atlantic on Saturday when Loughborough Lightning host the Exeter Chiefs in Premier 15s action. The Lightning are coming off a difficult defeat to Wasps but remain favorites as Exeter return from a COVID-enforced week off.

Loughborough have made one change relevant to Canadian fans. Abby Duguid swaps to the bench as England u20 rep Anya Richmond returns to partner Courtney Holtkamp in the second row. DaLeaka Menin retains her spot at tighthead prop, while Sara Svoboda switches to the blindside flank to accommodate senior England international Amelia Harper in the No7 shirt.

Exeter will field three Canucks opposite with Emily Tuttosi at hooker, McKinley Hunt at lock, and Taylor Black at flyhalf. Kate Zackary and Gabby Cantorna line up at openside flanker and inside center respectively. The in-form Eagles duo were both nominated as the club’s Player of the Month for November.

Live streams for the match will be available on YouTube and Facebook. Kickoff is set for 3pm local time, 10am Eastern, 7am Pacific.

There are just two other games this weekend with two postponed. Canadian winger Paige Farries starts on the right wing for Worcester as they travel to Bristol. A live stream is available on the England Rugby Facebook page and Premier 15s Twitter channel. Kickoff is at 2pm local, 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific.
