Guido Volpi returns to Doncaster Knights on loan from Ospreys

Guido Volpi has returned to England. The Argentine flanker will turn out for the Doncaster Knights on loan from the Ospreys. The 25-year-old will feature for the northern English side in the RFU Championship, the English second division.

It will be Volpi’s second stint with the Doncaster Knights. The former Argentine u18s player also joined the team in January on loan. In July he signed a new two-year contract with the Ospreys.

Volpi moved to Europe at the age of 21. He joined French second division side Narbonne in 2017. The following year he signed for the Ospreys. His move to West Wales was historic; Volpi is the first Argentine player to play for the Welsh region.
