Brad Tucker will suit up for a third season of Major League Rugby with the Seattle Seawolves, the club has confirmed. The 28-year-old second row was most recently spotted playing for the Ohio Aviators at the World Tens Series.
Since arriving from New Zealand ahead of the 2019 campaign Tucker has been an indispensable member of the Seawolves pack, starting every game at either lock or blindside flanker. His enormous work rate on both sides of the ball earned him official MLR Player of the Year honors in his first season with the club.
Seattle have now officially named six players for the 2021 season. Player-coach Mat Turner was followed by fellow ‘originals’ Tim Metcher, Eric Duechle, and Brock Staller. Tucker’s confirmation comes one week after that of Ben Cima who also suited up for the Aviators in Bermuda.
