Americas Rankings – November 15, 2020

The Americas Rankings is an exclusive on Americas Rugby News. It ranks the men’s test team from throughout the Americas. Matches recognized as caps are used for the rankings. Teams yet to compete since the Americas Rankings began are listed with 30.00 points.

The November 15, 2020 edition follows Saturday’s history-making result. Argentina overcame the odds to defeat New Zealand 25-15. It was the first time that Los Pumas defeated the All Blacks. The result gives Argentina 2.00 rankings points. This sees a climb from 10th to 8th in the world.

The World Rankings will be released on Monday, midday (GMT). They will show that Wales is now below Argentina. This is highly controversial due to the draw for RWC 2023 set to seed Wales in the Top 4. Argentina will be in Band 3, lower than Wales (Band 1) and Japan (Band 2).

The Americas Rankings will be updated again next weekend.
