World Tens Series set for Round 2 start on Monday

Round 2 of the inaugural World Tens Series event in Bermuda will start as schedule on Monday morning. The tournament will be boosted by a seventh team and a fully-revamped Phoenix team that will see the level of competition rising following the entertaining opening round.

SX10 forfeited last week’s games due to COVID-19 regulations but will make their anticipated debut against the Asia Pacific Dragons in the last match of the second session on Monday. Billed as a South African entry, the team also features a number of Kenya stalwarts from the World Sevens Series.

Also effectively a new team is the Phoenix. The majority of their roster was forced to remain in quarantine but are now cleared to play. Joining the side are several Southern Kings players along with Wales Sevens captain Luke Treharne and Ireland Sevens regular Harry McNulty.

The second round will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Mix in the UK and Ireland, ESPN+ in the USA and Africa, and on the World Tens Series YouTube channel.

Full rosters for all teams can be seen here.
