The Chile XV upset the Uruguay XV on Wednesday. The 22-21 win means both teams have a 1-1 record in the 220 South American 4 Nations. The Chileans have approached the competition as preparation for RWC 2023 qualifying. This very point should send shock waves to other competitors of the Americas Rugby Championship. Uruguay was not at full-strength. Notwithstanding, seven starting players competed at RWC 2019.
