Hurricane Epsilon forces delay to World Tens Series start

An approaching hurricane has forced the World Tens Series to delay the start of the tournament by one day. Hurricane Epsilon is expected to pass close to Bermuda on Thursday evening. Originally set for Saturday, the Series will now kick off on Sunday, October 25.

The inaugural event will be broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK. A live stream will be available on their YouTube page with a television broadcast on Sky Sports Arena immediately following the England vs Barbarians match. Still to be confirmed is a potential US broadcast agreement with ESPN+.

There will be three rounds of action on Sunday followed by four on Monday. The first two weekends of the tournament will follow a round-robin format to determine seeding before the knock-out finals round which is set for Saturday, November 7.

Broadcast times for the opening rounds this weekend are as follows:

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25
ROUND 1 – 05:30 PT, 08:30 ET, 09:30 local
ROUND 2 – 08:30 PT, 11:30 ET, 12:30 local
ROUND 3 – 10:55 PT, 13:55 ET, 14:55 local

MONDAY, OCTOBER 26
ROUND 1 – 04:30 PT, 07:30 ET, 08:30 local
ROUND 2 – 06:55 PT, 09:55 ET, 10:55 local
ROUND 3 – 08:55 PT, 11:55 ET, 12:55 local
ROUND 4 – 10:55 PT, 13:55 ET, 14:55 local
