Axel Muller try helps Brive to victory over Pau

Axel Muller and Brive were victories this past weekend. The former Argentine 7’s player crossed in the 6th minute against Pau. Brive were 19-13 winners in a tight contest.

Muller’s try coincided with Argentina’s roster being named for the Rugby Championship. The roster contains notable wingers. Among them are Top 14 players Santiago Cordero, Juan Imhoff, and Ramiro Moyano.

Brive’s victory takes the team into joint top position. Pau are also doing well, currently occupying 5th place.  Brive are tied with Clermont, Racing 92 and Toulouse on 9 competition points. Pau and Bayonne both have 8 points.

Next up for Brive is a home game against Toulouse. The match will be played on Saturday, October 17. Pau will play host to  Bordeaux that same day.
