RUNY re-signs prop Kirk Hamilton

Rugby United New York have re-signed tighthead prop Kirk Hamilton for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 31-year-old New Jersey native enters his third season as a professional having been with the club since its inception.

Hamilton missed the first two games of the 2020 season but clocked significant game time as a replacement against ATL, Houston, and San Diego. In his two MLR campaigns Hamilton has played backup to Eagles cap Paddy Ryan. His lone start to date came against NOLA in 2019.

New York have now confirmed five props for next season. James Rochford joins Hamilton in returning, while there are newcomers in Samoa international Zak Taulafo, Fiji rep Samu Tawake, and Brazil standout Wilton Rebolo. Ryan has left for pastures new while Jonas Petrakopoulos signed for ATL.
