Cordero scores as Bordeaux book Challenge Cup Semi Final spot

Santiago Cordero was a try scorer for Bordeaux on Saturday. The French side booked a Challenge Cup Semi Final. The Argentine winger ran 60 meters to score a 4th minute try for the Top 14 side.

Bordeaux were 23-14 winners over Edinburgh. The Top 14 vs Pro 14 fixture saw the French side on top throughout the contest. Santiago Cordero was joined by new recruit Guido Petti. The Argentine duo both started the match. Cordero play right wing and Petti played out of position at flanker.

With the win the French side will face English club Bristol in the final four. Bristol were 56-17 winners over the Dragons. The other Semi Final will be between the Leicester Tigers and Toulon. Leicester won by forfeit  after Castres were unable to compete in their Quarter Final.
