Western Force in talks to sign Jaguares players

The Western Force are in talks to sign Jaguares players. The Western Australian team is recruiting heavily for 2021. The team returned for the 2020 Super Rugby AU competition.

Earlier today the Western Force announced the signing of Kyle Godwin. The 28-year-old played for the Western Force from 2012-2016. He subsequently played for the Brumbies and in Ireland for Connacht. The Western Force announced that ‘more player announcements are expected in the coming weeks.’

Additional signings have been hinted at by the Daily Telegraph.The Australian publication noted that Tevita Kuridrani and Jake McIntyre are set to sign for the Western Force. The former has 61 caps for Australia and the later play for Clermont in France.

Western Force recruitment is also coming from Argentina. Kuridrani’s former Brumbies teammate, Tomás Cubelli is noted as ‘set to sign.’ The Daily Telegraph stated that “they’re also set to sign a number of Argentinian stars including halfback Tomás Cubelli.” The identities of the other Jaguares players have not yet been confirmed.
