Free Jacks retain Conor Kindregan for 2021

Conor Kindregan will return for a third season with the New England Free Jacks, and second in Major League Rugby. The 28-year-old joins fellow returning locks Jackson Thiebes and Ronan McCusker in committing to the 2021 campaign.

Arriving from Ireland, Kindregan joined the team ahead of the 2019 Cara Cup series. He has appeared in every Free Jacks game since. This past season Kindregan started three games and came off the bench twice, splitting his time between second row and blindside flanker.

New England have now confirmed 22 players for next season, 10 of those returnees. Among the incoming are South African forwards Xandré Vos, Erich de Jager, and Tera Mtembu. Otago center Aleki Morris-Lome will arrive after the Mitre 10 Cup, joining Scotland international Dougie Fife in a new-look backline.
