Mike Brown moves from New York to Dallas

Mike Brown will return to Texas for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. Having spent the 2018 season with Austin on loan, the Rugby United New York hooker has signed with the expansion Dallas Jackals.

Brown started 7 of 8 games for the Elite but has used as primary backup for RUNY captain Dylan Fawsitt over the past two seasons. In 2020 he was named in each match day squad and saw the field on four occasions, all as a replacement.

The 29-year-old is the third experienced hooker signed by the Jackals, following former Raptors starter Chad Gough and Scotland u20 international James Malcolm. Also confirmed in the front row are props Skyler Adams, Kelepi Fifita, and MLR newcomer Kareem Odeh.
