London Irish partner with Cayman Islands tourism

London Irish have agreed a partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. The deal sees the Exiles kit, matchday programs, website, and more sporting a Visit Cayman logo moving forward.

Located in the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands are a British territory and will hope the new advertisements will attract Irish fans to visit once travel restrictions are lifted. The Islands are currently closed to non-essential travel through October 1.

The agreement coincides with an imminent move to a new stadium for London Irish. Having spent the best part of two decades as residents of Madejski Stadium in Reading, the club is temporarily playing at The Stoop in Twickenham before moving to their new home in Brentford for the upcoming season.

It should be noted the deal does not directly involve Cayman Rugby. The union is a full member in World Rugby with the national team competing annually in Rugby Americas North tournaments. In 2019 they qualified for the Americas Rugby Challenge for the the first time.
