Imhoff opens Top 14 season with gift try vs Lyon

Juan Imhoff opened the new Top 14 season with a gift try against Lyon. The primmer Argentine winger touched down following a fumble from Noa Nakaitaci. The score was the first of three Racing 92 tries of the match. Racing 92 were 27-23 winners.

Imhoff joined Racing 92 in 2011 from his native Argentina. He did so following RWC 2011. Today is a 32-years-old and Argentina’s all-time leading try scorer in Europe. He has 16 tries for Los Pumas from 33 test caps. Due to politics his last cap was the RWC 2015 Semi Final.

Racing 92 will play next on Friday. The Parisians will have home advantage against Montpellier. Lyon will play away to Toulon. Both Montpellier and Toulon were beaten in Week 1 of the 2020-2021 season.
