Six new positive COVID-19 test cases

The UAR has confirmed six new positive COVID-19 cases. It is the third time since the training regime began in Casa Pumas that players have tested positive. All players have completed self isolation.

The six players are second-rowers Rodrigo Fernández Criado and Lucas Bur; N8 Bautista Pedemonte; center Juan Cruz Mallía; wingers Emiliano Boffelli and Bautista Delguy.

They follow previous positive COVID-19 tests of players and staff. N8 Javier Ortega Desio tested positive sparking testing for all players and staff. The outcome was positive tests for five players. They were prop Federico Wegrzyn; hooker José Luis González; flanker Tomás Lezana; and fullback Santiago Carreras. Staff Marcelo Loffreda and Martín Mackey also tested positive.
