Titi Lamositele made his Top 14 debut this evening. He started at tight head prop for Montpellier who had home advantage against Pau. Montpellier led 23-10 at half-time, but fell to a 26-23 defeat. Pau were given a penalty try too seal victory in the final play of the match.
Lamositele played opposite Argentine Ignacio Calles. They battled-it-out in the scrum. Both started the match with Lamositele putting in a 56 minute shift and Calles playing for 59 minutes.
Montpellier vs Pau was the first fixture of the 2020-2021 season. Both teams will play again next Friday. Pau will play at home against Agen while Montpellier have a trip to Paris to face Racing 92.
