Skyler Adams leaves Austin for Dallas

Skyler Adams has departed the Austin Gilgronis to sign with the Dallas Jackals for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 28-year-old loosehead prop is the 4th front row specialist signed by the expansion side and the 14th player overall acquired including their Collegiate Draft picks.

Originally from Black Forest, Colorado, Adams joined Austin following a stint in New Zealand playing for Christchurch clubs Marist Albion and New Brighton. He made just one appearance during the shortened 2020 campaign, making his pro debut as a replacement in the season opener against Toronto.

Adams is thus far joined by former Raptors pair Kelepi Fifita and Chad Gough in the Dallas front row stables, with MLR newcomer Kareem Odeh also confirmed. Among others the club has also secured Namibia loose forward Wian Conradie and US Eagles center Chad London.
