Old Glory re-sign Eagles No8 Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz

Old Glory DC have re-signed powerhouse No8 Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old is the second returning player confirmed by the club following co-captain and fellow international Thretton Palamo, announced earlier this week.

Fa’anana-Schultz will enter his third MLR campaign with considerable momentum. After joining the Houston SaberCats midway through the 2019 season, he made his test debut against Canada in the Pacific Nations Cup and only narrowly missed out on selection to Rugby World Cup 2019.

In 2020 the 6’2″ (1.89m) specimen continued to impress, starting all five games for Old Glory with his overall work rate marking Fa’anana-Schultz as one of the best loose forwards in MLR. He will look to add to his two Eagles caps when international rugby resumes next year.
