Kyle Rogers signs two-year deal with NOLA Gold

After a one-year hiatus, Kyle Rogers will return to Major League Rugby in 2021. The former San Diego Legion fullback has signed a two-year deal with the NOLA Gold and follows former Legion teammate Devin Short to The Big Easy.

Rogers, 25, was a Collegiate All-American at the University of Arizona and was a finalist for the 2018 Rudy Scholz Award. He played two games for the Legion in June of that year and in 2019 appeared in 10 games, starting four matches. This year Rogers opted to pursue business interests in Sacramento.

NOLA have now confirmed seven new additions for next season. Also joining are draft picks Andrew Guerra and Brian Nault, utility back Cian Barry, and centers Juan Cappiello and Jack Webster.
