Dylan Fawsitt re-signs for Rugby United New York

Rugby United New York have confirmed their second Rugby World Cup representative in a span of days. Following second row Nate Brakeley, hooker Dylan Fawsitt has extended his stay in the Big Apple through the 2021 Major League Rugby season just days shy of his 30th birthday.

Affectionately known as ‘The Butcher’, Fawsitt has been an ever-present with RUNY since their inception. After playing on loan for the Glendale Raptors in the inaugural 2018 MLR season he returned to star with New York in 2019 and was named captain for the 2020 campaign.

The Wexford, Ireland, native made his international debut for the Eagles against Chile in 2018 after completing his three-year residency requirements. He has now collected 15 caps, appearing in three of the USA’s four games at RWC 2019.
