Dallas signs All-American prop Kareem Odeh

The Dallas Jackals have announced the signing of Life University prop Kareem Odeh for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. He is the third front row player confirmed thus far by the expansion side following Colorado Raptors pair Chad Gough and Kelepi Fifita.

Odeh, 22, earned High School All-American honors before joining the Running Eagles for the 2017 campaign. After serving an apprenticeship under US Eagles cap Alex Maughan, Odeh took over the No3 shirt in 2019 and was named a 3rd team Collegiate All-American.

The Brunswick, Ohio, native is the latest in a line of Life front rowers to make the professional ranks. Estevan Florez played for the Houston SaberCats in 2018, with Matt Harmon currently at NOLA Gold. Maughan, Julian Montes, and Jamie Ferrante suited up for Rugby ATL in 2020.
