Chile Sevens to resume training on Monday

Chile’s Sevens are to resume training on Monday. Following four months without activity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Los Cóndores have been granted special authorization to return to train. The training will begin on Monday, July 20.

Los Cóndores are preparing for the big prize of earning the right to compete at the Tokyo Olympics. The special authorization granted will enable them to train as a group during quarantine.

Of note is that the roster contains a mixture of the players separated into 7s and XVs groups earlier this week. Of the 14 names, only Benjamín de Vidts and Matías Garafulic are uncapped in XVs.
