The LNR has released its provisional calendar for professional competitions in the 2020-2021 season. France’s professional leagues are set to begin on September 04 and conclude on June 26 with the Top 14 Final.
Also included are dates for France’s test team’s international activities. Les Blues are set ton face Italy on February 06; Ireland on February 14; Scotland on February 28; England on March 13 and Wales on March 20.
Following the Top 14 Final on Saturday June 26, France will tour Australia. Les Bleus are scheduled to play a three match tour with test matches to be played on July 03, July 10 and July 17.
Americas players play for a range of French Top 14 and Pro D2 clubs. Argentina is the most presented. Ten Top 14 clubs have Argentine players. They are Bayonne (Mariano Galarza), Bordeaux (Santiago Cordero and Guido Petti), Brive (Axel Müller), Castres (Benjamín Urdapilleta), La Rochelle (Facundo Bosch and Ramiro Herrera), Lyon (Francisco Goméz Kodela and Patricio Fernández), Pau (Ignacio Calles), Racing 92 (Juan Imhoff), Stade Français (Marcos Kremer, Pablo Matera and Nicolás Sánchez), and Toulon (Facundo Isa and Ramiro Moyano).
Additional players from the Americas will compete in the elite French league. They include Uruguayan Santiago Arata for Castres; U.S Eagles David Ainu’u for Toulouse, Joe Taufete’e for Lyon and Titi Lamositele for Montpellier; Colombian Andrés Zafra for Agen; and Canadians Tyler Duguid, Quentin James and Will Percillier at the Montpellier and Stade Français academies.
