Kremer set to join Stade Français

According to multiple reports from reputable outlets Marcos Kremer is set to join Stade Français from Los Jaguares. The Argentine flanker is deemed to have agreed to a contract which is set to be made official in the coming days. It will mean that Kremer continues to be coached by Gonzalo Quesada who recently returned to the Parisian club from Buenos Aires.

The move from Argentina to France will mean the departure of two of Los Jaguares’ leading names in a matter of days. Yesterday it was made official that Guido Petti had signed for Bordeaux. The Jaguares second-rower will become a teammate of fellow former Jaguar, Santiago Cordero at Bordeaux.

According to reports, the 22-year-old Kremer will join Pablo Matera and Nicolás Sánchez at Stade Français. This may mean a Pumas flanker duo for the Top 14 side, though Kremer may be set to play second-row.

Kremer has been a mainstay Puma and Jaguar since debuting for both as a teenager. He has played at both flanker and the second-row, depending on the needs of the team. However, because of his defensive game, particularly his high tackling statistics he has predominantly played on the side of the scrum.

Kremer is not the only Puma circulating as a new recruit for Stade Français; another is Tomás Lavanini. The second-rower is rumored to be being granted an early release from the Leicester Tigers to play for the Parisians.
