Bernard Reggiardo Signs for Aurillac

Bernard Reggiardo has signed a new deal with Aurillac. The Pro D2 club announced that the 23-year-old has signed for two more years. The scrum-half is the son of former Pumas tight head prop, and current Castres Head Coach, Mauricio Reggiardo.

Mauricio Reggiardo had an impressive playing career. This included him playing for Castres from 1996-2005. Hence, his son, Bernard, was born while in Castres while he was a professional player in France. This makes Bernard Reggiardo a JIFF, and eligible to play for both Argentina and France.

Bernard Reggiardo moved from Castres to Aurillac in 2017. The following year he made his debut, facing Bayonne in his first professional match. Prior to the coronavirus outbreak he had played 12 matches this season for the club. His return was for three tries.
